The Solar Installation Process

Learn what to expect when the installation crew arrives and how quickly you can become a solar household. After we have a signed agreement, we do a pre-installation site review, file for your rebate, do the engineering for the preparation of a permit package, and pull the permit. We will discuss the final placement of your system with you and schedule the installation crew.

On the day the installation crew arrives, our technical supervisor assigns the tasks for placement of mounting hardware, conduits, panel placement and establishing the appropriate connections. The final installation step is to commission the inverter. Then we will thoroughly review your system with you.

After your local building department and utility sign off, your system can go live. Your utility will install a bi-directional meter so that any excess power can be fed into their grid as a credit to your utility account.  Congratulations – you are now a solar household!
